my favorite part of the day is loading up the boys, still in their jammies, into the wagon and exploring a new part of this beautiful place. the sunshine, and cool breeze and calm of the morning do my heart good. but the most good comes from talking with heidi, hearing her heart, praying over our day and taking in all her wisdom.

how he quickly runs to grab his two brother's sippy cups when they yell "juuuuuice"

how he fearlessly scoots himself down the slide refusing to hold my hand

how he loves to help me put the legos back in the box

how he suprises me half way through handy manny by coming over and plopping down in my lap.

how he constantly forces me to turn my head to laugh when i try to scold him for being naughty because his little face is just too cute for words.

how he brightens each and every long day in countless ways.

He has met me here, in this place. in this new scary hard place.

He has been so faithful and so near to me.

He has drawn me to His Word for comfort and encouragement.

He has held me closely and pursued me.

He has overwhelmed me with His love.

and He has given me this precious little one, little will, and his two darling brothers to bring unexplainable joy as i spend my days with the three of them. even through exhaustion and through feeling incapable and overwhelmed, such joy. such rich rich joy

january 8th marks the start of a new adventure

january 8th makes me the nanny of william, jackson and matthew.

i am so excited. and so in need of prayer.
